Is Darlington really 'Too Tough Too Tame'? Not for NASCAR star Kasey Kahne it isn't. On Saturday night, the star brought continual success to Kyle Busch Motorsports by leading the final 51 laps and holding off the 2010 series champion Todd Bodine.
"I enjoy winning and I dont win near enough. So to come here and win this weekend feels great. There's no way it cant benefit... the next month or so, give me some momentum. It's exciting. I dont care what it is. I'll buy Kyle a vacation anytime to drive this thing again," Kahne said.
Eric Phillips, crew chief for the 18, was happy for Kahne. "Guys that drive these Cup cars every week, they expect you to show up at the racetrack and be good when you unload, be fast and be prepared. And as long as you are they're easy to work with," Phillips said.
Is there a possibility of Kahne running more truck races in 2011? "I'd like to. Kyle said I could. I think it just depends on if we can get some money and find some sponsers, maybe one or two or three more races, something like that at some of the races Kyle,s not running or he's not going to run," Kahne said.
Kahne has three victories as well as a second in just four Truck series career starts.
