Trevor Bayne Becomes the Youngest to Win Daytona 500
At 20-years-old, Trevor Bayne made history by becoming the youngest ever to win the Daytona 500. Last year, he made his first Sprint Cup start in Texas. This year in qualified for the Great American Race and in his second Sprint Cup start he became the 2011 Daytona 500 champion. Not only did the 20 year old become the youngest to win the 500, but he also became the first driver to win the 500 in his first attempt, since Lee Petty did it in 1959.
